Overview

Ipswich Hospital is the largest hospital in West Moreton and provides specialised services for the people of Ipswich and beyond. Work is well underway to expand the Ipswich Hospital making it easier for the growing West Moreton community to get the healthcare they need, closer to home.

The Hospital Rescue Plan will deliver:

An expansion by 2028
200 new overnight beds
Services including a new emergency department, operating theatres and an expanded coronary care unit
A multi-storey car park.
