Overview
The Prince Charles Hospital is employing around 3,200 staff and providing specialised care for more than 420,000 Queenslanders each year.
Our expansion project will deliver better services for the people of Brisbane, making sure they can receive healthcare faster and avoid potential complications while left on a waitlist without answers.
The Hospital Rescue Plan will deliver:
At least 93 new overnight beds
A new, fully developed plan that meets Hospital and Health Service and clinical needs
Services including a new emergency department, paediatrics and operating theatres
Staged execution to keep the project on track
Better use of the site, leveraging nearby facilities and infrastructure
A multi-storey car park.
